This is not really a group of age in the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) develops placed. PTSD can develop at any age, including childhood, but research has shown that the average age of onset is 23 years.

Research has shown that it is more common in people with migraine and in adulthood.

However, there are some events where people are more likely to develop PTSD. If a person responds to an event with PTSD depends largely on the seriousness of the case or stress in itself. Sexual assault, for example, is more likely to produce PTSD and other terrible experiences. The disorder also frequently occurs after violent personal attacks, caused such as rape, assault or domestic violence, terrorism, natural disasters or man, and accidents.

For example, some studies have found that PTSD developed in the envelope:

1 of 5 firefighters.
1 in 3 adolescent survivors of car accidents.
1 of 2 women victims of rape.
2 of 3 prisoners.

Hope this helps! :)

It is possible that certain age groups such as people of a certain age who may be involved in a traumatic event in the world. But I do not think that age has an influence on PTSD. I guess what I am saying is that can affect any age, but can not be certain events that occur in rather a certain age or certain groups of people who are involved in some traumatic thing as a war that many people are affected has. People of all ages, abilities, intelligence, etc. may be affected by PTSD. I work with people with intellectual disabilities, unfortunately, many of them suffer serious violence and sexual abuse. Many of them suffer from PTSD, and they are all different ages.

There is no particular age group suffering post-traumatic stress disorder. This happens when someone or something they do not experianced grown sees. When the soldiers had returned from the war, a higher number when the war began, because there's no fighting going on. Although some still do today. some people simply can not process what the eyes see.

It is likely that young people have started after the trauma, and while the brain is still developing. This is an interesting study .. I know that many people who will be affected by PTSD, probably 20s-30, or when something reminds them of the trauma than the smallest. All this depends on just where the event occurred, the majority of injuries from a severe case of post-traumatic stress related, the person grew as a child and unconsciously influence them for years before it surfaces, which may in any moment of his life.

Age has nothing to do with PTSD. PTSD is normally because the brain does not have the trauma and memories, and share anywhere. But the shock, horror, fear, etc. can not escape back into the store and on the person. But the trauma is not only emotionally and physically.

There are many practices that stress reduction can have a short time. Take a deep breath and laxatives, while thinking nothing of her marriage. Perhaps a good piece of chocolate, for example. Hiring a wedding planner who can do more, and you will calm down. Ask your to-be-husband for help. And congratulations!

To answer it, but it is still all ages, as it is a developmental disorder after a traumatic event (rape, death, car accidents, etc.). This can happen if you are a teenager or adult.

PTSD can occur at any age. Some demographic differences between age groups would be easier to identify someone with PTSD.
